Pauldron / Spaulders Pattern

Here is the pattern we use for our Pauldrons, also called Spaulders. There's options for cross-chest straps or lace holes to attach to a gorget or other shoulder piece.

Make sure you print them at their original or 100% size. It should fit on US Letter paper or A4 paper.

Recommended Materials:

• 8-9oz veg tan leather for the main body
• 6-7oz 1/2 inch straps
• Buckles with 1/2 inch pass width
• Rivets
• Optional: Laces for attaching to other armor

Recommended Tools:

• Pencil
• Knife
• Edge beveler
  
• Edge Slicker or Burnisher
• Hole punches
• Rivet setter
• Mallet
