Protect and care for your leather (and your own skin!) with this simple yet magical balm.
Leather needs protections from the elements, particularly rain and sunshine, and will loose its luster as it dries out. Applying this balm will help bring color back to the leather, and protect it for future outings.
Made in my kitchen with only four ingredients: local beeswax, sweet almond oil (deodorized), organic shea butter, and essential oils.
It comes in three varieties: Fox's Flowers, Raven's Forest, and Plain
Fox's Flowers has lavender, rosemary and clary sage essential oils.
Raven's Forest has balsam fir, thuja (or white cedar), and Virginia cedar essential oils.
Plain has no essential oils, but smells of sweet honeycomb (from the beeswax).
To apply the balm, rub a thimbleful between your fingers until it melts completely, then rub evenly over your leather. Try to avoid build-up in the divots of the tooled design; remove any excess with a fingernail or toothpick, or apply heat sparingly with a heat gun.
Apply whenever the color starts to fade, or you intend to spend time out in the sun or rain (but avoid getting your leather wet!)
