Gorget Pattern
Gorget Pattern
Here is the pattern I use to make my leather gorgets. It's quite basic, but it produces a classic result. One size fits most!
You can watch this video for visual instructions: https://youtu.be/PuXRPFmhKeQ
Make sure you print them at their original or 100% size. It should fit on regular letter paper.
Please let me know if you have any questions! I do not provide refunds, but I'm happy to help you in any way I can.

I enjoyed making this so much I had to write a review. The video on YouTube helped tremendously, but the pattern was fairly easy to put together, and I had plenty of room to add my own flair and snaps to keep the straps down. I hope to make and attach the F&R pauldrons to this as well!
It was an easy pattern to follow
It’s a good pattern. Easy to print and assemble. I was attracted to the simple design because it is easy to modify. I am using it for protection during drills and light sparring in HEMA. In order to be functional in combat applications it was necessary for me to trim the front plate at the shoulders so I can raise my arms without the collar riding up my neck, but understand that it was not designed with actual combat in mind. You can’t beat the price, and the video tutorial was very easy to follow.
This is easily the BEST pattern I've ever purchased!
It fits me perfectly (I'm a woman with broader shoulders than most, but it also fits perfectly when worn over a gambeson), the pattern itself is beautifully done and the assembly was incredibly easy! Plus, I asked a few questions on the YouTube video that showed how to make it and Nora answered really quick! Best customer service ever.
