This is the pattern I use to make my Viking boots, based loosely on a find from Oseberg, Norway.
This is only the pattern, no instructions: for visual instructions, check out the two videos included under the photos!

Make sure you print each page at its original or 100% size. The red borders should be within the printing bounds of a typical desktop printer, where you then cut and assemble the pieces together.
After printing, verify the size by placing your foot on the paper, and seeing if the back of your heel and your toe match with the lines on the sole.

Recommended Materials:

  • 10-11oz veg tan leather for the soles (DO NOT USE SOLE OR SADDLE BENDS)
  • 3oz soft leather for the upper
  • Wax Coated Thread
