These unisex viking shoes are based on a find from , a Danish trade city located in modern-day Germany.
The upper is a rich, oily leather, giving natural water resistance, while the soles are thick veg-tan leather—not water-proof, but they can be made water resistant with beeswax products (such as our Lip and Leather Balm).
These shoes are 100% hand-made, from cutting out the pieces, to piercing the holes, to sewing and turning the shoe inside out. We use only the highest quality leathers and waxed thread, using saddle stitching technique which holds together much better than a machine.
EU sizes are actually unisex, which is why I use them. I've provided a size chart for your convenience.
If you’re more of a do-it-yourself kind of person, you can also get our kit to make them yourself!
